The Isle of Wight is a fantastic place, with beautiful surroundings, some thriving businesses and a strong sense of community. As the economic development agency our role is to build on these foundations to bring greater prosperity and new opportunities for the whole Island.

This section will tell you more about some of the work that is going on in places such as Cowes and The Bay to attract new businesses, how we are raising the profile of the Island to the rest of world and the types of things we are doing for local businesses and enrich the community and environment and how you can help.

We work with local and regional partners to secure funding and develop projects which will encourage business growth, create new job opportunities and enhance the quality of life for local people.

One of our main activities is promoting the Island and attracting new investment and new business - we do this through our marketing & branding projects and our inward investment activities – and then help them grow via the Enterprise Hub and the Innovation Centre.
