Dom and Pippa

Dom and Pippa both worked in the City – Dom as a bond broker and then head of IT for a hedge fund company before setting up his own business providing data integrated web solutions to UK hedge funds, and Pippa for several city firms including Bloombergs.

After several holidays on the Island they realised they could achieve their ambition of working from home in the country and decided to sell up in London and move down to the Island to enjoy a more balanced lifestyle.

Pippa set up her business Fair & Weathered sourcing and selling home and garden furniture from around the world and they started looking for a home on the Island.

Dom found it easy to run his web solutions business from home and the benefit of combining a day at work with some kite surfing proved he had made the right decision. 

Last year they bought a Victorian cottage in Freshwater Bay, and are busy decorating before their baby arrives.
