Local Isle of Wight Produce

Isle of Wight farmers can grow a range of produce due to the favourable warm climate found here. There are farm shops selling local and organic produce, including Godshill Organics, The Garlic Farm, Arreton Barns, and Farmers Fayre in Newport.

A bustling farmers’ market brings the countryside to Newport and Ryde town centres each week and is a great chance to find local produce and meet the people who make it. Newport every Friday (9am-2pm), and in Ryde on Saturdays (8.30am-12.30pm).

Many restaurants have realised the benefits of using local, organic produce for the quality and excellent taste they create.
