Wight Challenge 15th September
Teams of 3 compete in a 32.5 mile circuit of running, cycling and open canoeing. A popular event attracting competitors from all over the UK. The purpose of the event is to have fun and raise money for Dreams Come True Charity.
Cycle the Wight 16th September
Families, individuals and groups of friends can enjoy raising money for charity whilst cycling around the Isle of Wight. You have the option of two routes, either 65 miles or 45 miles around the Island, this year in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Cycling Festival 5th - 23rd September
A great way for all abilities to see the countryside and coastal paths on the Isle of Wight.
Killer Hills 23rd September
Take on the challenge of an orienteering ride against the clock, as you pit your bike and stamina against the 3 hill, 7 hill or 14 hills challenge. For the 7 Hills Killer start at Freshwater and make your way across the Downs towards Sandown or... if you're tough enough for the 14 Hills Killer, start at Sandown and ride to Freshwater and back again. For those that are new to the extreme sport the 3 Hills Challengers head to Sandown Airport from the start point at Chale Green.
