Judi Griffin


Judi was appointed as an Isle of Wight Economic partnership board member to represent Rural Affairs. Judi has lived on the Isle of Wight from an early age. Judi married an Island dairy farmer and their farm has 160 pedigree Guernsey cows. She also runs her own business a successful Bed and Breakfast farmhouse for over 25 years.

Career History:
Judi has worked in a number of influential roles including as a Magistrate since 1972 – Chairman 1993 – 1995, Deputy Lieutenant of the Island since 1993, High Sheriff 1996/97, Currently Patron HomeStart, past Governor/Chairman of a middle school, President Isle of Wight Rural Community Council, Trustee Carisbrooke Castle Museum, representing Lord Lieutenant, served 14 years on HMP Camphill Board of Visitors, served 8 years on Hampshire Police Authority, SEEDA Dairy Sector Champion South East Region 2005/2006 and Country Land and Business Association Regional Food Advocate since 2005

Judi also works within a variety of charitable fields including the President Isle of Wight Asthma Society, President Age Concern Isle of Wight, Trustee David Hyde Asthma and Allergy Centre
